Mining and salvage gear is now a full tier range of utility tools, separate from weapons.
- Mining and salvage gear is now a utility-tool family with a full tier range: Mining Laser, Mining Beam, Strip Miner, Gas Extractor, and Salvage Cutter.
- These are utility equipment, not weapons: they fit utility slots, can’t be fired at ships, and take no weapon mods.
- Existing fitted mining lasers and salvage cutters carry over to the matching new tool automatically.
